Ace Laboratories Dynamic Testing Capabilities
Dynamic Testing Available at ACE Laboratories
Flex Fatigue
Flex fatigue testing assesses the durability and longevity of rubber and polymer products under varying temperatures. Our equipment allows us to comply with ASTM D813, ASTM D430, and ASTM D4482 at room temperature and elevated temperatures up to 150°C (302°F). Broader temperature ranges available if tested using our MTS.
Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA)
Dynamic mechanical analysis measures the viscous and elastic properties of rubber and other polymers. Our testing combines the VR-7130 Automatic DMA with THERMO JETTER to assess characteristics like filler effect, glass transition, stress relaxation and cure behavior down to -90°C (-130°F) without using liquid nitrogen.
Field Performance Simulation (FPS)
Replicate realistic road conditions to analyze tire material characteristics and predict tread performance with our Ueshima FPS Wear Testing System. The AB-2012 FPS Abrasion Tester has been designed in accordance with ISO 23337 standards.
Rotational Traction Measuring (RTM)
Formulate new tire compounds that improve braking, performance, abrasion resistance and energy efficiency with ACE’s rotational traction measuring tests. Our Ueshima RTM Friction Tester evaluates compounds or tread samples under dry, wet or ice conditions, yielding cost-effective data for innovative decision-making.
