Tension Testing
ASTM D412 helps us understand the tensile properties of thermoplastic elastomers, a basic but important step in determining your material’s end use readiness.
Tension testing subjects your elastomeric material sample to tension until it fails. Through this failure analysis, and the amount of tension required to cause failure, is used as a baseline for research and development purposes across industries.
