ACE Laboratories, one of the top rubber, silicone, polymer, and latex testing labs in the country, announces that it has earned certification from the Miami-Dade Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources. The certification covers all testing outlined in ACE’s ISO 17025 scope of accreditation.

The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources is responsible for a variety of crucial functions and services, including building, development, consumer protection, and resilience. The most common tests that ACE will perform for Miami-Dade County include ASTM D6083, ASTM D6694, ASTM D5147, and ASTM D5869. The company is actively working toward the addition of several more related test standards to its scope of accreditation.

ACE Laboratories recently announced a major investment in testing capabilities and in-house expertise focused on construction materials, such as coatings, bitumen, and roofing.

“This certification is another key part of our commitment to offering the best testing services in the country for the construction industry,” said Erick Sharp, President & CEO of ACE Laboratories. “We are working tirelessly to add more new testing capabilities and equipment over the next few months, including several that very few—if any—other testing labs offer.”

ACE has also received approval from the Florida Building Commission to conduct laboratory testing for Florida Building Codes.

Founded in 2014, ACE Laboratories offers the fastest turnaround times in the industry and a full suite of testing and consulting services for rubber, latex, and polymer products and materials. The company has steadily grown from a one-man operation to a 200,000-square-foot facility in Ravenna, Ohio, staffed by industry veterans, experienced technicians, attorneys, and other experts. ACE received its coveted ISO 17025 certification in 2018.
