2022 Year in Review

Dec 2, 2022 | News

2022 has been an astronomical year for ACE Laboratories. The team’s hard work and dedication to the company have allowed us to expand our capabilities, clientele, and certifications. ACE looks forward to what is to come and is excited about the future. Here are some of the highlights from this year:

Jumping into Construction

This summer, ACE jumped into the construction sector. The firm has a longstanding rubber, silicone, and latex history, but pivoted direction. ACE successfully became one of just six Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) Accredited Independent Testing Labs in the US, approving the company to perform radiative property testing for CRRC Product Rating Programs for Roofing and Exterior Wall products. With six CRRC-trained and certified technicians combining over two decades of radiative property testing expertise, ACE now has the capacity to provide the industry’s most accurate and responsive lead time. ACE testing capabilities will allow roofing and exterior wall material manufacturers to know how well their products perform in various climates across North America. The testing also reveals how products can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Expanding Our Scope

ACE Laboratories also earned certification from the Miami-Dade Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources this year. The certification covers all testing outlined in ACE’s ISO 17025 scope of accreditation. We doubled the size of our ISO/IEC 17025 scope this year and have four years of experience with this accreditation. Our ISO/IEC scope expansion is over 100%. “This certification is another key part of our commitment to offering the best testing services in the country for the construction industry,” said Erick Sharp, President & CEO of ACE Laboratories.

Growing Fast

We have experienced extraordinary growth in 2022. This year, our team has expanded by 42%. We are grateful for all the bright, talented people who have come on board with us this year. Thanks to our team’s hard work, ACE has seen sales growth of 38%. In 2022, we conducted business in 16 countries. This year has been exciting and full of growth – we are excited to see what next year brings!

Looking Forward

This upcoming year, Sharp and the ACE team will work “tirelessly to add more new testing capabilities and equipment over the next few months, including several that very few—if any—other testing labs offer,” Erick explains. ACE Laboratories is excited to continue its growth in 2023 and beyond!

End-of-the-Year Testing

We are wrapping up 2022! If you have a polymer testing or development project that needs to be completed by the end of the year, ACE has the ability to make it happen. Our capacity and quick turnaround times allow us to get projects done accurately and on time.
